We’ve done a lot of work on our home, and Ignacio’s team was easily the most professional and reliable we’ve encountered. They completed a brace and bolt under the EBB program for us, which meant they not only worked with the structural engineer and city permitting, but ensured we had what we needed to complete the paperwork for the program. I highly recommend them.

Martin’s bay area construction recently completed a basement dig out project at our home that involved extensive excavation, foundation and drainage work. His team also handled all the framing, electrical, plumbing and finishes. Additionally, they added skylights to our main floor and rebuilt the staircase connecting the main floor and basement to meet code. Thanks to his team’s exceptional work, we have been able to significantly expand our home’s habitable space. Ignacio and his son Oswaldo were good communicators form the onset, their bid was competitive, the quality of the work was great and most importantly the end result was delivered pretty much on budget. Ignacio was great at trouble shooting issues during the construction. One such instance was an error in the drawings provided by our Architect that failed to take into account the pitch of the roof. As a result, the skylights that had originally been planned could not be constructed. Ignacio found an elegant solution to incorporate the skylights, which have made a dramatic difference. The finished basement is excellent and seems like it was always part our 1920’s home. Ignacio’s team did a great job of matching the interior finishes of the main floor, including the home’s original molding. Save for a few hiccups related to the local permitting / inspection process, we couldn't have asked for greater ease and quality on this extensive project.

Martin’s Bay Area Construction did great work building my new two story home in Stockton. Ignacio worked with the city and engineer to get my house built within budget and his son helped us solve major hurdles including working with my PG&E rep and the property next door to bring permanent power.

Ignacio Martin and his team did a fantastic job of building our retaining wall. Five years on and it is doing its job and looking perfectly. He also build a stone staircase for us. It is a piece of art–people still comment on how they love it. He is responsible and affordable; he showed up and finished the job on time. I recommend him without any reservations.

I hired Martin's Bay Area Construction to repair and remodel my bathroom, laundry room, and guest room and I couldn't be happier with the results. Ignacio performed a great job adding a French drain on my home to prevent flooding under the house. Ignacio and his team were prompt, respectful and professional. Did a thorough job that I am very happy with. Would recommend him and rehire if/when I have another big job to do on my home.

Ignacio and his crew were the best. They were respectful, very intelligent, and talented group of men. They built an adu in my back yard. Part of the construction required the incorporating one of the rooms from my existing house to merge with the new house. They showed up everyday on time. Some companies work on multiple projects at the same time. Ignacio company works from start to finish. They were on time and on budget. Would highly recommend Martin construction to anyone. I plan to use them again in the future.

We had a fantastic experience with Ignacio and Martin’s construction. His crew painted a couple of rooms in our house and they did a fabulous job. They are reasonably priced, thorough, and very hard working. Now we are working with Ignacio for an addition and he has been so helpful - giving us multiple bids and helping us adjust our project to be more economical while still keeping the elements we are hoping to have. I can’t recommend him highly enough! He also did extensive remodeling work on my brother’s home and it all turned out absolutely gorgeous.
